The site was created way back in December 2018 when an unknown user registered the domain.
Furthermore, as reported in Know Your Meme, it was only in September 2019 that the site containing the cringy image started getting attention. This happened as a result of huge bait by several people on Reddit and Instagram suggesting people visit the particular site.
Starting September 16, 2019, many people continuously posted about the site with the bait on media platforms. Following such massive exposure, more people visited the site and further suggested it to other users on Reddit, Instagram as well as Twitter.
