Sarah Kiarie commonly known as Sarah K is a Kenyan gospel musician and songwriter. She won the grove award female artist of the year in 2014. She is popularly known for her hit song ‘Liseme’
Sarah is one lady of faith respected by many and adored my many uprising gospel singers in Kenya. Sarah Kiarie used to sell vegetables and work tirelessly to sell her albums. She has been an inspiration to many through her song which won Groove Awards Liseme.

She grew up in Loitokitok, on the border with Tanzania and was exposed to Swahili more than her mother tongue. This is a major contribution to why her songs are in Kiswahili.

Sarah K Music Career
Her musical career started in 1991 when she released her debut album ‘Ebenezer’.
Her singing career started off when she at first borrowed money for fares to sell her music to studios literally going from door to door to market her talent.
Her first album was produced in 2000 and was called Wamtumainio Bwana. In the year 2003, Sarah released her third album which was called Milele Daima and included the popular hit song, Nasema Asante. To date, Sarah’s albums include Wamtumainio, Milele Daima, Adonai, Testimony, Liseme with another in the pipeline.
In 2015, she released a new album titled ‘Yote Yawezekana’ which is an eight-track album that contained songs such as;
