In August 2005, Hemmer signed a contract for Fox News where he has reported several issues at the studio as well as from the sites. In 2012 election period, he reported the national convention of Democratic and Republic party from Charlotte, North Carolina and Tampa respectively also responsibly performed his part on election night, observing FNC’s “Bill Board”.

He was the main correspondent and host from the heartbreaking Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut also in 2013, from Boston Marathon bombing area.
