Kevon Looney is a 26-years-old professional basketball player who plays for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was honored with the second-team all-conference in the Pac-12 in 2012-15, as a freshman in the UCLA Bruins men’s basketball program.
Later, Looney entered the 2015 NBA draft as he got selected in the first round with the 30th overall pick by Golden State. In the 2017-18 season, he earned consecutive NBA championships with the Warriors.
Looney is a five-star prospect who earned All-American honors. He recorded double figures in both points and rebounds in 15 games as he led all freshmen in the nation in double-doubles during his only season at UCLA.

Now Kevon Looney has slimmed down his body adopting a modified Paleo diet; he was around 220 pounds in his junior year of high school. He is currently a key player for the Warriors as his minutes continued to increase the past few seasons.

At the top of the key, Kevon corralled a pass from Stephen Curry and darted past Wizards center Marcin Gortat to tie the game at 109-109 midway through the fourth quarter on 22 September 2017.
In an interview, Kevon Looney said, “I couldn’t have done it because I would have been too tired to run like that down the court. I feel better and comfortable out there.”

Before the 2017-18 season, Kevon Looney shed 14kg i.e. 30 pounds of weight by changing his training program and following a healthy lifestyle. He also hired a personal fitness trainer and lost his sufficient weight over six weeks.
Later, Golden State coach Steve Kerr praised Kevon Looney for setting an example of what being a professional is about in this league. In addition to that, he succeeded to record career-highs of 13 points with six blocks in a 124-109 win defeating the Phoenix Suns, on 17 March 2018.
