She went further to say that he was the same person asking her to go for rehab, yet he liked her high and even said she was sexier when she was high. She also claimed that all his wives and ex-wives were on drugs and asked him to explain why that is so.

On his part, Senator Nwoko stood firmly on the health angle. He told the News Agency of Nigeria that he had taken her to the hospital unconscious at least three times and that her toxicology results were alarming. He said he wanted her alive, not only for himself, but for their two young children. He also said anyone advising her against proper rehab was her enemy.
He blamed her siblings, especially Sammy, for supplying her with the same substances she was being treated for, and said that was why doctors wanted them kept away. To him, this was about saving her life and stopping a pattern of destructive behaviour.
The sex tape claim raised the stakes. Regina said she trusted him with it and now feels he is always one step ahead of her. By mentioning it publicly, she took away the power of it being used secretly. She also announced that she would fight him in court with all of her. That was her way of saying she is no longer afraid.
On the other side, Ned was also trying to protect his own image. He kept repeating that nobody was beaten, that the viral video was staged in front of his own house in his absence, and that he had been generous to her family. He said people should calm down and help her get treatment.
At this point in the story, both of them had admitted to something sensitive. Regina admitted to drugs, and he admitted to restricting access to her. She accused him of forced injections; he accused her family of sabotage. She said there was no legal marriage; he said he was only trying to keep the mother of his children alive.
