The fluid was removed from the cyst but the infection moved into the bone and into his bloodstream. He stayed eight days in the hospital. He was under d various pain and antibiotic medications. He was later released.
He has since come off of the pain medication but is still receiving antibiotic treatment via IV, which his wife administers to him daily.
